De Volvo 200-serie is zonder enige twijfel een iconische auto van het Zweedse merk. Als opvolger van de 100-serie kwam eind 1974 het nieuwe model op de markt. De auto kreeg verschillende varianten, waaronder de 245 (een combi of estate). Deze stijlvolle stationwagon legde (samen met zijn voorganger) de basis voor een model dat tot ver in de jaren 90 is geproduceerd en staat bekend om de oerdegelijke betrouwbaarheid van het merk Volvo. Deze Volvo 245 is geproduceerd in 1977 en oorspronkelijk geleverd in Zweden en is voorzien van een automatische versnellingsbak.

In 2007 is deze schitterende Volvo combi in Nederland geregistreerd en al die jaren met zeer veel zorg en liefde onderhouden. De auto is niet alleen bijzonder vanwege de zeer goede conditie, maar ook vanwege de schitterende en stijlvolle kleur Tahoe Green Metallic. Deze carrosseriekleur vormt een perfecte combinatie met het bruine interieur. En het is niet met zekerheid te zeggen, maar de zeer lage kilometerstand lijkt een originele kilometerstand te zijn. Verder is deze prachtige Volvo 245 niet alleen voorzien van een drie-traps automaat, maar ook nog eens van airconditioning. Al deze dingen maken deze auto extra bijzonder en aantrekkelijk.

De auto is in uitzonderlijk goede conditie. Op een paar leeftijdssporen na, is deze Volvo 245 in echt schitterende staat. De carrosseriekleur Tahoe Green metallic heeft een stijlvolle en diepe glans en is in zeer goede conditie. Ook de diverse chroom- en sierdelen zijn in zeer goede staat. Dit geldt ook voor de verschillende rubberdelen en afwerkingen. De carrosseriedelen sluiten goed op elkaar aan en de portieren sluiten goed en degelijk. Dit mag je ook wel verwachten van een auto van dit Zweedse merk. De auto is overigens ook voorzien van een functionele trekhaak.

Ook het interieur van deze Zweedse stationwagon is in zeer goede staat. De bruine stoffen bekleding is in zeer goede conditie en de stoelen zitten bijzonder comfortabel. Het dashboard is in zeer goede staat en alle instrumenten werken naar behoren. Het vloertapijt en overige interieurbekleding is ook in zeer goede staat en dat geldt ook voor de hemelbekleding. We hebben zelden een auto in zo’n originele en perfecte conditie gezien. Deze auto is overigens ook voorzien van twee extra (wegklapbare) zitplaatsen in de kofferruimte. Deze zitplaatsen zijn in 2007 achteraf gemonteerd, maar was in 19777 ook als originele accessoire verkrijgbaar op deze auo.

Deze Volvo 245 rijdt bijzonder comfortabel en aangenaam. Het is een heerlijke auto om mee te rijden en de auto stuurt en schakelt bijzonder goed. De automatische transmisse schakelt soepel en de B21 motor (2127 cc en ongeveer 100 pk) loopt bijzonder mooi en rustig. De viercilinder motor heeft voldoende vermogen om comfortabel met deze stijlvolle stationwagon te rijden. Ook het sturen gaat erg soepel en de remmen werken goed en stevig. Kortom, een heerlijke en iconische rijdersauto met betrouwbaarheid als extra kwaliteit!

The car is in exceptionally good condition. Aside from a few signs of age, this Volvo 245 is in truly stunning condition. The Tahoe Green metallic bodywork has a stylish and deep shine and is in very good condition. The various chrome and trim pieces are also in excellent condition. This also applies to the various rubber parts and finishes. The body panels fit together well, and the doors close well and securely. This is to be expected from a car from this Swedish brand. The car is also equipped with a functional tow bar.

The interior of this Swedish station wagon is also in very good condition. The brown fabric upholstery is in excellent condition, and the seats are exceptionally comfortable. The dashboard is in excellent condition, and all instruments work properly. The carpet and other interior upholstery are also in very good condition, as is the headliner. We've rarely seen a car in such original and perfect condition. This car also features two additional (folding) seats in the trunk. These seats were retrofitted in 2007, but were also available as an original accessory for this car in 1977.

This Volvo 245 drives exceptionally comfortably and pleasantly. It's a wonderful car to drive, and the steering and shifting are exceptionally good. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly, and the B21 engine (2127 cc and approximately 100 hp) runs exceptionally nice and quiet. The four-cylinder engine has plenty of power to comfortably drive this stylish station wagon. The steering is also very smooth, and the brakes work well and securely. In short, a wonderful and iconic driver's car with reliability as an added bonus!
