DB7

With the launch of the DB7 in 1994, British car manufacturer Aston Martin revived the traditional DB designation. This name derives from the initials of David Brown, the brand's former owner. The DB7 was the first model in two decades to be powered not by a V8, but by a six-cylinder engine, and later versions by a V12. Initially, the DB7 was offered only as a coupe, followed at the end of 1995 by the convertible, known at Aston Martin as the Volante. In 2004, the DB7 was finally replaced by the DB9.
