Ascona BThousands of them have been produced and everyone's mom, dad, uncle and grandpa owned one. Nowadays hardly any nice Ascona's are left over. This very Ascona B was sold new via Opel Autohaus Sporer in Weinheim to Mr. Köpf from Ladenburg and was first registered on the 29th of June 1981. He opted for an Ascona in Flamenco Rot, 2-door coupe, Red velours interior, automatic transmission and the powerful 2.0S engine. The original service book is present and shows 5 dealer stamps. The car wasn't driven a lot though: Just 9084 kilometers on the clock today. Wearing largely original paint and sittin on it's 1980 original tyres.

The car had sat for ages and was discovered again by a Belgium collector who registered the car in 2018 with 8824 kilometers. Since 2024 the car is in the Netherlands and now shows 9084 kilometers.

Finding an Ascona this original and low-kilometers is rare. Finding a 2.0S Coupé is even rarer. Genuinely an amazing automobile.
An exceptionally straight body, beautiful panelgaps, no rust. It's wearing 80% original paint and last week it received a 2-step paint correction and ceramic coat. It came out beautiful.

The interior is clean and all original. A true time capsule. The red is deeply red: the cloth, the dash, the vinyl doorpanels - it's all mint. So are the trunk with original never-mounted spare and the engine bay.

The 2.0S engine runs excellent and the cold-start and warm-start work as they should. The car kept its original 1980 tyres for originality and collectability reasons.
