Owning a car like this is like mindfulness and a roller coaster rolled into one. You can sit and stare at it for hours just admiring the stance and design. Or take it out for a drive and feel your spine tingling with excitement. Like a dopamine shot to the brain. So it literally makes you happy.
A front-wheel drive design, with a transaxle ahead of the driver and a V4 engine lying on its side even farther up in the nose. This lends the Fulvia surprisingly adept road manners and potential. Paired with disc brakes, independent front suspension, and a gorgeous cabin, the car delivered its own special version of driving thrills.
All Lancia cars of the pre-Fiat era are overbuilt and engineered to an unbelievably high level. The details of their engines, suspension, and overall design are fascinating, and truly not found elsewhere. It delivers endless joy in its little details—spend a little time staring at the intricacies of the engine bay, and it all becomes clear.
The Fulvia which we are presenting here today was purchased from a Belgian collector who truly cherished his cars. That is apparent in how well he looks after his cars. She comes with her original Italian Libretto, original books and even some original brochures from back in the 70’s.
She is finished in this very classy brown colour, which almost looks like black in our pictures. We have not come across this colour before and we love it. Her body is in good condition and is rust free with no visible signs of accidents. She is running the original chrome bumpers and original set of wheels. We like to see Vredestein Sprint Classic tires on cars because that means that the owner does not cheap out and appreciates his cars.
The theme of this Fulvia is originality. That is also apparent on the interior as she still has her original steering wheel and seats. These often get changed out. The seats and door cards however have been professionally retrimmed with Bentley Barley leather which gives a luxurious feeling. To finish her off, she has a green carpet which looks stunning.
Mechanically she is as good as she looks. Original specification with everything being in good working condition. You can confidently take her on any type of adventure without a problem.
